SW:TOR forum

I have a framework created for a TOR section. I'm curious if we want to gate access the same way the wow section is gated, or a less restrictive method.

I'm also curious who would want access, other than folks who have posted already in the TOR threads. (I'm not sure how I'll scrape the users together, so if anyone else has free time and wants to paste them in this thread, that'd be fine with me.)

After rereading this, it's a pretty incomplete way to ask a question. Presently the WOW section has two groups associated with it (the groups are hidden and moderated). The player group, and the officer group. This allows me to make a new forum and all I have to do to let all the wow people have access is drop the group in, with the officers moderating.

I'm unwilling to add individual users to the particular forum permissions. However, we could not require a group and leave the forums available to all registered users (which should not include the spam accounts).

After we've got the forum permissions set, I'll move the TOR crap out of potential games into the real forums.

I'd say we leave it open for now and then leave the possibility of restricting access open for a later date.

I asked him to keep it closed to members due to the information discussed in the forum.

I've added members based on this thread. If you're not on this list, let me know and I'll get you access.

Barring complaint, I'll move the SW:TOR stuff over tomorrow night.

that was the intent of my "ping" reply earlier. Should have been more explicit, thanks for the group-add.

I really should have said PM me then. I don't think of forum posts as being directed at me unless they include my name explicitly (and even then, sometimes posts get marked as read without me actually reading them). PM's are pretty much always read (and often acted on)

Funny you mention it Skargath, there used to be much more discussion on the boards about the old republic. I can't find those discussions anywhere now.

Send mange a PM for access to the TOR sub-forum if you don't have it and want it.

We do have Wicked Claw forums dedicated to SWTOR. If you do not have access and would like it, please send a private message to Krodor.

Cheers.

Those black hole coins and pet is because you had an active account when the server transfers happened and you were on a destination server. Everyone got them if they had an active account.
